FLOBOND™ SP 2300 SOIL PROTECT can be used as a soil amendment to improve soil structure and tilth. By binding soil particles together, these polymers help to create larger soil aggregates, which improves soil aeration, capillary water movement, and root penetration. This creates a more favorable environment for plant growth and enhances soil productivity.
The grower standard shows that the grower is on a 10-day irrigation cycle, with irrigation events getting the soil moisture to saturation at field capacity and drying out over 10 days to just above the wilting point. After applications of FLOBOND™ SP 2300 SOIL PROTECT, the grower is retaining more moisture in the soil and able to extend his irrigation events by 3-4 days. Throughout the growing season, they will be able to eliminate multiple irrigations, saving water, energy, and labor.
