The field trials were conducted at the village Kalyanpur, district Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, India. District Amethi is most salt affected district of state Uttar Pradesh. The average PH range is 9-10 in district Amethi. The total field area was 240 m2 consisting of 12 plots. Each plot size was 4.0 m×5.0 m = 20 m2. There were 3 plots in one replication. Flobond LX 50 dose used 20kg/ha, 40 Kg/ha and 80 Kg/ha. The soil is loam and irrigation method is furrow irrigation as per farmer practice. There was a total of four treatments i.e. T1, T2, T3, T4 during the study. Treatment T1 indicates control whereas; T2, T3, T4, exhibit Flobond 20 Kg/ha., 40 Kg/ha and 80 Kg/ha respectively.
Additional Information of Trial:
- Sowing date of paddy nursery – 10th June, 2020
- First Application of Flosperse – 30th June, 2020
- Transplanting of Paddy nursery – 5th July, 2020
- Second application of Flobond – 11th July 2020
- Harvesting of Paddy – 11 November, 2020
- Method of Irrigation – Forrow
- No. of Irrigation – 3 irrigation (4-5 cm) in rainy season (average rainfall 1000 mm annual)
- Flobond application Method – manual ( first dissolve chemical in a 50 L of drum and shack it well before application Then apply it manually.
Conclusion
We observe that there was no significant difference in PH and salt status but in yield we received significant yield increment over control plot with Flobond LX 50 anti salt application @ 40 Kg/ ha.
