Irrigation system

Application of FLOBOND LX50 Antisalt to observe the impact on crop development and soil salt concentration.

Soil was not that bad at beginning but the water salt contains is really high (EC >3.4, 450 ppm of Na, HCO3 >680 ppm, Ca > 220 ppm etc…)

METHODOLOGY

  • 1 application every 10 days of 3kg/ha
  • Comparison first without any other product
  • 2nd comparison with competitor product (mix of humic and carboxylic acids)
  • Total of 10 applications until harvest

1st application
We noticed a significant reduction of EC -32%, Na -50%, Ca -43%, K -40%. The first sample was taken before irrigation and the second one 3 days after. There was no other irrigation between the two analysis and no fertilizer was applied during the irrigation. Producer was impressed by the efficiency of the FLOBOND LX50 ANTISALT.

3rd application
In this case the producers took the samples in a field where they apply other product against salt, and we noticed way better results with the FLOBOND LX50 ANTISALT (EC -36%, Na -50%, Ca -15%, K -35%). In this case the results are still really good but might have been impacted (mainly Ca concentration) by the fertilizer applications. In any case, even if soil is still really salty, results of FLOBOND LX50 ANTISALT are really good.

Pricing
Cost of ANTISALT: 10 applications of 3kg/ha (4.00 US$/kg final user) every 10 days: 120 US$/ha
Cost of competitor:  18 litters/ha costing around 9.5 US$/litter 160-180 US$/ha
