Karapinar is one of the major corn producing point in Turkiye. Yet the soil of Konya is not so fertile and the water availability is becoming a major concern in the area. The first application parcel was not fertile and the grower gets average 11 t / ha yield máximum in rainy years. Neighbouring parcel yields are average 13-14 t / ha. We initially focused on to balance the yield with other parcels, after the first application grower wanted to apply our producto to rest of his field. No control yet we have information from past years. Same pattern and applications.
The result: average yield is 15 t /ha. We have achieved to equalize the yield and increased in total.

METHODOLOGY

  • Farmer field, clay-loamy & calcareous soil

  • No Control parcel .2 app. for the first parcel and 1app. for the rest

  • Irrigation : 24 h / week, drip.

  • Application time(V7-V10) second application to all field .

  • Standart Irrigation pattern
