Note: Trial area, selected by GC Superintendent, due to heat stress and difficulties to grow grass.
Application of Flobond CCAMS 50, mix with water. No compatibility issues. Smooth application. Easy to clean.
Observations:
- The tanks was clean before filling.
- No issue mixing the product with water.
- Easy to spray
- No polymer residue and easy cleaning after the application or at least I did not see.
- Dosage: used diluted in water 1.5 gallons of CCAMS 50 to 30 gal of water. We wanted to add more water to make sure the product is moved to the soil profile, since no rain and limited irrigation in the area.
- 34 days after first application we have noticed very good improvement and the grass is filling in on the trial area.
- The improvement is from combination of factors including higher rate of SFA 30AS and several rain events during this period.)
- The higher rate recommended due to timing. We were contacted for this project in the middle of the summer, where daytime temperatures are in range of 95-110oF with limited rain events.
- Golf Course Superintendent is pleased with current performance. Results will be evaluated at the end of the trial period.
