Cotton: Incrasing the yield by enhancing the seeds

The aim was to observe a difference in yield between fields sown with seeds treated or not with FLOBOND SC101.

METHODOLOGY

  • Product: Flobond SC-101, seeds treated at 0.5 %.

  • Crop: Cotton (Phytogen 332)

  • Seeds per Acre: 42,000

  • Soil Type: Silty/ Loam

  • Land type: Total of 3 (three) fields one Irrigated and two (two) Non-Irrigated. Data combined from 308 Acres.

  • Planting date: May12th, 2022

  • Surface feeder root system on treated seeds better developed vs Control
  • Treated cotton plants higher with an average of 1” (2.5 cm) vs Control
  • Leaves larger with better canopy vs Control

Conclusion

  • Yield increase was noticed on two of the fields with treated seeds only with Flobond SC 101 (Average of 200 lb./ Acre.
  • One field with average yield of 4 lb. Acre less than Control.
  • Higher yield was achieved from one of grower best land.
