Cotton: Effect of desalination on field soil in Uzbekistan

The aim of the experiment was to observe the effects of soil desalination on cotton growth using FLOBOND™ LX50 to regulate soil composition.

METHODOLOGY

  • Sowing April 2023
  • Flobond LX50 dose 1 (15 l/ha) 23 March
  • Flobond LX50 dose 2 (16,1 l/ha) 31 July
  • Total dose is 31,1 l/ha
  • In all 12 cells, during the final washing and the first watering, nitric acid was added in equal doses.
  • Application method:  Automatic
  • Harvesting – 24 September

Conclusion

Flobond LX50 Antisalt showed an average increase in raw cotton yield of +11 %. According to the economic results, the average additional net profit was + 203 USD / ha.
