These demonstrations was carried out in Shahada (Maharashtra) on Banana under field condition to define the impact of LX 50 Anti-salt on salt leaching in soil, impact on crop vigor and production.
Tehsil Shahada of district Nadurbar (MH) is prominent in salt affected soil. Soil condition is black cotton soil and pH varied from 7.5 pH to 8.5 pH. Normally dry spell occurs from Month March to June.
There was almost no precipitation during this demonstration and irrigation method was through drip system.
